Restaurant and hospitality website design: Hospitality websites that fill tables and rooms.

Restaurants, cafés, pubs, bars and hotels are chosen on a phone, often minutes before someone sets off. Your website needs to show the menu, the photos, the opening hours and the way to book, quickly, without a PDF in sight.

Questions

Questions, answered.

The things owners in your industry ask first. If yours isn’t here, just ask.

Ask me a question
Can customers book a table online?

Yes. If you already use a booking system such as OpenTable or ResDiary, your website links to it or shows it on the page, so every booking stays in one place. If you don’t, add Online booking and customers book the times you set, with email reminders.

Should our menu be a PDF?

Better not. A PDF is slow and fiddly on a phone, and Google makes less use of it. Menus as proper web pages load quickly, read well on any screen, help you show up for what you serve, and can be changed in minutes.

Can you change the menu and opening hours when we need to?

Yes. New menus, specials, opening hours and events are small changes, part of Business Care (£79 a month). Send them over and they’re done.

Can hotels and B&Bs take room bookings?

Yes, through the booking system you use (most hotels and B&Bs already have one): your website links to it or shows it, with your rooms, rates and photos on the website itself. A booking system built just for you is quoted separately.

Can we sell gift vouchers?

Yes. With an E-commerce website, gift cards are sent instantly and spent at your online checkout. If you want vouchers people can use in person, we’ll look at how that fits with your till on your kick-off call.
