Questions

Questions, answered.

The things owners in your industry ask first. If yours isn’t here, just ask.

Ask me a question
Will lots of photos slow my website down?

Not if they’re handled properly. Every photo is saved in several sizes and a modern format, and the browser downloads only the size it needs, so galleries stay quick on a phone without looking soft.

Can I add new galleries myself?

If you’d like to, yes: we’ll agree which parts you want to update yourself before I start, and I’ll build it that way. Or send me the photos and I’ll add them, as part of Website Care.

Can clients see and download their photos on my website?

Most photographers use a client gallery service such as Pic-Time, ShootProof or Pixieset for that, and your website links to it in your own style. If you’d rather have private galleries built into your website, I’ll price it once we’ve talked.

Can I take a deposit online?

With Online booking, people book a session at the times you set. Taking a deposit at the same time is priced in your quote (tick Extra functionality in the quote form). Selling prints or gift vouchers is what E-commerce is for.

Should I blog about my shoots?

It helps. A post for each wedding or shoot, with the venue or location in the title, is how many photographers get found by people searching for that venue. Add a blog in the quote form and post whenever you like.
