Who it’s for

When you’re ready to sell online.

Whether you’re taking your first orders online or outgrowing the shop you have, the job is the same: make it easy to find the right product and pay for it.

You get everything in Business, so your shop is found on Google and easy to contact, plus a catalogue, basket and checkout designed around what you sell and how you deliver it.

Two ways

Two ways to build your shop

I’ll recommend one on your kick-off call, and explain why.

For most shops

Shopify, designed for you

A reliable, secure base with a dashboard where you manage products, stock and orders yourself. I design and build the theme around your brand, so your shop doesn’t look like everyone else’s.

  • Run it day to day yourself
  • Checkout and payments handled by Shopify
  • Apps for extras like subscriptions

For something more specific

Built from scratch, with Stripe

When you sell in a way a standard shop can’t handle well, like a price builder, made-to-order products or bookings, I build it myself, with secure payments through Stripe.

  • Built around the way you sell
  • Prices checked on the server, so the price shown is the price charged
  • Automatic emails when an order comes in

The details

What makes a shop sell

The details that turn visitors into customers, whichever way your shop is built.

  • Product pages that answer questionsGood photos, clear descriptions, sizes, ingredients or specifications: everything someone needs before they buy.
  • Easy to browseCategories and search that help people find what they came for, quickly.
  • A quick, trusted checkoutFew steps, the payment options people expect, and no surprises at the end.
  • Found on GoogleCategory and product pages built to rank, with the structured data Google uses for products.

Already selling?

Big-shop experience, for shops of any size

At THG, I worked on the SEO of large online shops including LOOKFANTASTIC, Cult Beauty and Myprotein.

I bring the same attention to detail to every shop I build: fast category pages, product pages Google understands, and nothing standing between a customer and the checkout. If your current platform is holding you back, I can move you to a better one, with every old address redirected.

What’s included

44 things, at no extra cost.

Everything here comes with every E-commerce website, from £5,995.

Compare all three

Your website

  • Bespoke design, drawn from scratch around your business, never a template.
  • Your brand throughout: your logo, colours and fonts on every page.
  • Made for phones first, and checked on tablets and computers before launch.
  • Fast pages, built to pass Google’s Core Web Vitals.
  • Up to 20 general pages, like Home, About, Services and Contact.
  • Your photos and video, sized so they load quickly.
  • Accessible: readable text, good contrast, and pages that work with a keyboard.
  • Your own domain, with SSL/HTTPS as standard.
  • A custom favicon for the browser tab, and no website-builder branding.
  • SEO foundations: page titles, descriptions, structured data, a sitemap and Google Search Console.
  • Google Analytics, set up and checked on launch day.
  • Website migration, if you have a current website: your pages and photos moved across and tidied up, and every old address redirected so its Google rankings can carry over. Moving a large blog or archive is priced in your quote.
  • A kick-off call, then a private preview link that updates as I build.
  • 30 days of aftercare after launch, then Website Care.

Your contact details

  • Your phone number, email and social links, wherever people look for them.
  • A map, directions and opening hours, if customers visit you.
  • A contact form, with spam protection, that comes straight to your inbox.

Built to win enquiries

  • A page for each main service, laid out and optimised to be found on Google. You supply the words, or add copywriting.
  • Enquiry and quote forms that ask the questions you need answered.
  • Tap-to-call and WhatsApp buttons on phones.
  • Calls to action planned page by page, so every visitor knows the next step.
  • Your reviews and testimonials, shown where they help people decide.
  • A gallery of your work, or case studies, laid out so new ones are quick to add.
  • Answers to common questions, marked up so Google understands them.
  • Local SEO set-up: local structured data and the same business details everywhere on your website.
  • Conversion tracking: calls, enquiries and key clicks counted in Analytics.
  • Email sign-up, connected to the newsletter tool you use.
  • A thank-you page after every form.
  • Your accreditations and guarantees, where customers look for them.

Your shop

  • Full e-commerce on your domain, designed to match your website.
  • A product catalogue for physical and digital products.
  • Your first 25 products set up for you.
  • Product options: sizes, colours, flavours and anything else you offer.
  • A basket and your own checkout, quick and fully branded.
  • Payments by card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, straight into your account.
  • Shipping rates and VAT set up for where you sell.
  • Stock that counts down as you sell.
  • Order management: orders, fulfilment and refunds in one place.
  • Discount codes and sale prices.
  • Customer accounts with saved details and order history.
  • Order emails in your branding: confirmations, dispatch notices and receipts.
  • Abandoned basket emails that bring shoppers back.
  • Products ready for Google: product structured data and a free Google Shopping feed.
  • Sales analytics: best-sellers, revenue and where your customers come from.

From first message to launch day.

The same simple steps for every website, with one person all the way through.

  1. 01

    Tell me what you need

Choose a starting point and tick what you need, or just describe it. It takes a few minutes.

  2. 02

We talk through your business, your customers and what the website needs to achieve.

  3. 03

    A fixed quote

What I’ll build, what it costs and the dates for each stage, in writing. No obligation.

All work

Concept design · Bakery

Bramwells Bakery

A concept I designed to show how I’d plan a larger website: a family bakery with 18 shops, built around ordering online and collecting from a local shop. A homepage, category and product pages, a click and collect basket, a page for every shop and a wholesale section.

  • E-commerce
  • Click & collect

Questions

Questions, answered.

If yours isn’t here, ask me: there’s no such thing as a silly question about your own website.

Ask me a question
Shopify or a custom shop: which do I need?

For most shops, Shopify. It’s reliable, and you can run it day to day yourself. A shop built from scratch with Stripe makes sense when you sell in a way Shopify can’t handle well, like made-to-order products or a price builder. I’ll recommend one on your kick-off call and explain why.

Can I manage products and orders myself?

Yes. You’ll have a dashboard for products, prices, stock and orders, and I’ll show you how it works. Your first 25 products are set up for you, and any more are priced in your quote.

Can you move my shop from another platform?

Yes. Website migration is included: I’ll move your pages across and redirect your old page addresses, so customers and Google find the new shop. Your first 25 products are set up for you, and any more are priced in your quote. How I run a website migration

Who takes the card payment fees?

The payment provider, Shopify Payments or Stripe, charges its fees directly, and payments go straight to you. If your shop is on Shopify, Shopify’s own monthly plan is paid to Shopify too.

Can customers collect from my shop?

Yes: tick Click & collect and local delivery when you ask for a quote. Customers choose a shop and a collection time, or delivery to the postcodes you cover.

Is hosting included?

Every website comes with Website Care. On an E-commerce website that’s E-commerce Care, £129 a month from launch day, with the first 30 days free, including checkout and payment monitoring and product changes made for you.
